Achieve macro level magnification with a telephoto lens

Give your telephoto lens a whole new lease of life by using a NiSi Close Up Lens Kit to turn it into a macro lens!

The 77 Close Up Lens Kit works at 1:1 magnification at approximately 200mm focal length, meaning an object 35mm in size will completely fill the frame of an image when using a full frame camera (35mm sensor).

Due to it's design and extra elements, the 58mm Close Up Lens Kit can achieve an effective 2:1 magnification when paired with a dedicated Macro lens such as the Canon 100mm f/2.8L (using available adaptor rings).

Closer focal distance to get closer to the subjects

When using a telephoto lens the typical minimum focus distance can be anywhere from 1 metre to 2 metres from the subject. An example of this is the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L II which has a minimum focus distance of 1.5 metres.

When using a NiSi Close Up Lens the focus distance is changed to anywhere from 9cm - 25cm (58mm Close Up Lens Kit) to 22 - 30cm (77mm Close Up Lens Kit). This allows you to get very close to the subjects for maximum magnification and be more creative with depth of field and background blur.

No need to carry
a specific macro lens

Dedicated macro lenses can be very expensive and take up a lot of space and weight in your camera kit. At just 200g for the 77mm Close Up Lens and 100g for the 58mm Close Up Lens both are extremely easy to carry and conveniently have within any camera bag. Adaptor rings allow both of the 58mm and 77mm Close Up Lens Kits to be used on a variety of thread sizes (from 49mm to 77mm) and lens choices.

Stability for focus stacking with the NiSi Macro Focusing Rail

The NiSi Macro Focusing Rail 180-NM is the perfect companion for the NiSi Close Up Lens Kit gives you the ability to precisely adjust the position of your camera when shooting macro photography.  The rail is equipped with an integrated Arca-type compatible quick release clamp and also includes an Arca-type plate.

The focusing rail itself has a double-dovetail mount and will fit most Arca-type clamps on the market. The mounting clamp allows 360-degree rotation to change the camera direction without having to remove the plate from the clamp. The adjustment range is 160mm while the clamp size is 180mm, maximizing the movement of the camera. The movement is adjusted by a Collapsible Thumb-Screw Knob which makes it easy to adjust and store.

Included is a longer quick-release plate designed for telephoto lenses and with a groove for straps and is easy to lock and release. The maximum load of the rail is 5kg.
